This statement sets out the steps that Intelligent Office UK has taken and is continuing to take to ensure that modern slavery or human trafficking is not taking place within our business or supply chain, in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Intelligent Office UK has a zero tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery, which encompasses slavery, servitude, human trafficking and forced labour. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity and transparency in all business dealings and to putting effective systems and controls in place to safeguard against all forms of modern slavery.
Intelligent Office UK is the UK’s leading provider of support services to the legal sector with more than 700 people based in 43 client sites and two shared services centres.
We endeavour to work closely with a number of preferred and trusted suppliers, to ensure that the goods that we source and services that we procure are aligned with our zero tolerance approach towards modern slavery.
As part of our commitment to our staff, Intelligent Office UK provides detailed training on how to prevent, detect and report any suspected cases of modern slavery or human trafficking, so that our people have the confidence to come forward and speak out, and this is supported by our whistleblowing policy. Our recruitment and selection process has also been designed to align with the Act.
